Polishing & Waxing your boat isn't just about looks—it's about protecting your gel coat from UV damage, oxidation, and everyday wear. At Nautilus Marine Services, we offer a thorough polishing and waxing service tailored to your boat’s condition and finish.

We handle light, medium, and heavy oxidation, using the right combination of compounds and techniques to get results without compromising the surface. For large or weathered areas, we use machine polishing and buffing, adjusting pad and compound combinations depending on the level of oxidation. Products we work with include trusted marine-grade options like Aquabuff, 3M, and Meguiar’s.

Smaller or more delicate areas—like around fittings, rub rails, and trims—are done by hand using a selection of microfiber cloths and detail applicators. This allows us to get into tight spots without scratching anything. 

Once polishing is complete, we apply a high-quality marine wax to protect the surface and enhance gloss. This not only improves the boat’s appearance but also creates a barrier against salt, grime, and UV rays.
